Recently Kanye West has basically took it upon himself to make sure he can spread his message and proving to everyone that “It’s more than just some rap sh*t” as said in recent interview with Big Boy of Power 106. We are beginning to see Kanye more often spreading his message to the people. The Kanye of today is more so known as the person to not hold his tongue and believe tremendously in his talent. In this hour-long interview with MTV’s You Heard It First segment in 2002 it showcases the Kanye West before he became Yeezus. But he was still that confident proclaiming greatness in his future as he believes to become bigger than Michael Jackson himself 12 years ago.

MTV VMA Moonman Reinvented By KAWS

With astronomical hip-hop/entrepreneur mogul Jay-Z putting Brooklyn on his back, they have endured many deserved blessings. And with one of the biggest entertainment outlets in MTV deciding to be the first outside a sporting event to choose Brooklyn as a home for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards is astonishing.

On top of all of that MTV also decided that what would be more creatively ingenious to have non-other than KAWS himself Brian Donnelly to re-design the MTV Moonman trophy. It is also said that KAWS will be head of the stage set-up, which is said to feature a 60 foot inflatable Moonman, the largest to date. By the way it’s only right that Brian Donnelly better known as KAWS is originally from Brooklyn, therefore that brings it on home with the connection of this year’s MTV 2013 Video Music Awards which will kick-off August 25th.
