For those of you who may not know who these two guys are, well I feel for you, but look at this as an introduction then. Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo consisting of two musicians who have worked with a lot of great American talent such as Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. They are both involved in production and behind the mic. This time they are receiving praise for their fashion sense and super unorthodox creativity with helmets that you would normally see them wearing. Above is actually a rare shot of the two without their helmets on, don’t get use to it.
Photographer and art director Luca Finotti captured Daft Punk for Fucking Young Magazine’s editorial, which is due to release their Fall/Winter 2013 issue. The editorial is entitled “Daft Funk” and is focusing on the fashion and taste makers of the Daft Punk music duo, which is pretty funky as you see in the images. These two artist’s wardrobe for this shoot consists of various designers such as Givenchy, Kris Van Assche, Jil Sander, Moschino, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and even customized Nolan helmets. After their recent success with Pharrell and their “Get Lucky” track and Daft Punk’s VMA performance, Daft Punk has been receiving more love than ever before in the states.
